Tidaholm in Sweden
Tidaholm municipality wants to welcome the team in April 2007. We are a small town with about 12 500 inhabitants situated about 350 km soutwest of the capital town Stockholm and about 160 km northeast of Gothemburg the second town of Sweden
We are very proud of CIU:s decission to choose us as a host town for this exchange. This will be the third time we are working with CIU

Welcome to the small, idyllic town of Tidaholm located beside the rippling waters of the river Tidan. A town that offers good service and every thing you require within walking distance. No small town can be more loved by its inhabitants than Tidaholm.
This is the town where everyone takes the streets in conjunction with events.
Tidaholm is the town where you don´t need to be anonymous. Everyone is someone and this is reflected in the highly imaginative nicknamnes that many of the inhabitants in Tidaholm bear with pride. Come to Tidaholm - the town that receives its tourists with a smile.

- Culture, which offers stimulation, with a beautiful library, the world-famous lithographic art workshop, with its roots in the old lithographic matchbox label production, and the unique "Barnens Hus" the Children´s House for the very young.
